We are a movement on mission - called to unite Wayne County with the indwelling power of Jesus Christ.
This is more than a gathering; it’s a movement. We believe church isn’t simply a place we go on Sunday—it’s a people filled with the very presence of God. Our passion is to help people encounter the reality, treasure, and unstoppable joy of Jesus Christ dwelling within them.
As a Bible-saturated community, we exist to awaken hearts, ignite faith, and remind people that they are fully seen, deeply loved, and created with immeasurable worth by God.
We honor the traditions and people of Wayne County while creating a safe, supportive community where you can explore faith, wrestle with life’s struggles, and discover the unseen reality of God.
Following Jesus isn’t about getting every belief right before He will make His home in you. Understanding grows as we follow Him. The invitation is simply to believe that Jesus is God who came in human form to rescue us, restore us, and make His home within us.

THE MOVEMENT
Awakening a Generation to the God Who Dwells Within
Love is not our duty.
It’s our destiny.
In a day and age where social media tries to scratch the itch of being seen and known, and with a hollow imitation of connection, we are left with a profound epidemic of loneliness.
We believe the cure for this loneliness isn't found in a social media algorithms, or scrolling for more content. The cure is the superior treasure of God Himself indwelling us, reminding us that we are never alone. He is not the distant "man upstairs"; He is the One True God who desires to make His home in you now (John 14:23).
Cultural Christianity has cast a fog over the message of good news that Jesus taught, many are left spiritually starving. We are witnessing entire generations being discipled by the hollow logic of social media algorithms, consuming endless streams of content in a restless search for purpose and belonging, only to find themselves more isolated and empty than before.
In the search for truth & belonging, the digital world has left us full of information, but empty of the substance of the treasure our soul longs for.
This generation is hungry for true reality, the removal of hype and performance, and a demand for substance and presence. An actual unique substance and presence superior to what the world offers, an actual treasure of life, knowledge, and truth. The Church of The Indwelling is passionate about having found this treasure, truth, and reality, and desires to make it available to you —the living presence of Jesus and our constant union with His Spirit. We are shifting the focus from passive religious activity to the reality of the Indwelling: Christ is in you. He is with you now. You are never alone.
At the heart of the stunning good news invitation Jesus came announcing was this: the availability of another kind of life — a life more real, more alive, and one that can dwell inside to empower you. The Indwelling exists to proclaim the immersed reality of union with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with joy and clarity.
We are here to revive the message Jesus Himself preached — “the kingdom of God is at hand” (Matthew 4:17).
We are here to reveal the mystery Paul thundered to the nations — "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).
We long to make others rich with the treasure of Christ with full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3), see people awakened to new life, reshaped in character, connected in deep community, and making the treasure of Jesus visible through their bodies (2 Corinthians 4:11; Philippians 1:20).
This is not just another idea, hobby, or another polished version of church. This is a movement of God who desires to awaken His people to the reality and treasure of the God who dwells within — and carry His presence into the world.

HOW TO LIVE AGAIN
Saved sinners? Or a new Creation? Many are familiar with how to be saved and receive new life from God, but many fail to receive insight about the reality of this new life we have been given, and how to live this new life minute by minute in the union and fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Knowing the serious pursuit of joy in God and life-altering reality of surrendering your kingdom to God’s kingdom, we have put in place various teaching courses to help you learn how to live again "with God" as you transition into each phase of this new life and increase your understanding and joy along the way.
This new spiritual journey can be confusing and we have also created a grace - filled safety net to catch you when you stumble and care for your wounds when Great Physician prunes with surgical grace. Our desire is to guide you with counsel, and give you fresh hope.
Feel free to get plugged in to a class or group and learn how to put into practice the teachings of Jesus to experience the life-giving character transformation that He promised.
